HELP US RAISE $20,000

Dear Do It For The Love Family

As we head through the holidays and toward the end of the year, we are filled with gratitude, love, and hope.

We are so grateful to have live music and events to enjoy together. We are thankful to be able to award live music wish grants again. And we are incredibly grateful for our friends and dedicated supporters of DIFTL, Kathy and Pete Sittnick, for generously matching Giving Tuesday donations of up to $10,000 this year!

We have so much love for our DIFTL Family. Thanks to our kind and generous donors, sponsors, and partners, we can inspire hope and healing with music and provide cherished memories to our wish grant recipients and families.

Michael and I are also filled with hope as we close out DIFTL’s 10th year as a nonprofit organization. It has been an incredible journey and a year of celebrating the impact on over 12,000 lives.

DIFTL remains hard at work achieving our mission to inspire hope and healing through the power of music by awarding music therapy grants and live music wish grant experiences.

Thank you for being on this journey with us over the last decade. Your support, whether it’s been through making donations, attending or hosting events, sharing stories, telling your friends, or nominating someone you love, has had a positive impact on the lives of many.

We appreciate your consideration and any level of ongoing support.

Love,
Sara & Michael Franti

"Music continues to be what our family turns to on our bad days, good days, and all the in-betweens," wrote Jessica.

"Nine years ago we got the call that somehow was wrong with Xavier and we needed to take him to CPMC and their team was waiting for him. Two weeks later we were told they didn’t know if he would make it to his 2nd birthday, and two months later, we were told our Super X was terminal and that our UCSF team would do whatever they could to get him to live longer. Since then he has gone through more than any child or human should and has beat every timeline given to him. Now we focus on quality of life and making memories because we don’t know how long he will be with us. We continue to fight, and refuse to give up... moments like [this] I believe give him the willpower to keep fighting.” 💗

Your gift will help grant live music experiences and fund music therapy programs.
