Board Member Spotlight: Carmen Romano
Meet our Board Treasurer, Carmen Romano. Carmen is an entertainment industry business manager at FBMM Inc., and he has been in the music industry since 1989.
Carmen and his wife have been together for over 30 years and they have three children ages 30, 25, and 19.
While this east coast native and his family call Nashville home, his heart is in San Francisco.
“I am an avid San Francisco 49ers fan even though I have been on the east coast my entire life.”
Carmen has been involved with Do It For The Love since our founding in 2013. He was asked to join the board by his client and friend, and our co-founder, Michael Franti.
When Carmen is not balancing the books, he’s staying active.
“I love doing things outdoors, hiking, playing sports, running, scuba diving.”

Share a funny, joyful, or inspirational story that happened to you or your family in 2020.
Our 25 and 30-year-old daughters previously moved out of state for their jobs. When everyone went “work from home,” they both came back and worked from here. We got to have 8 months with them that we would never have had had it not been for Covid. That was a really big blessing for me, my wife, and our son.
What is the first thing you are most looking forward to doing when the world returns to some sense of normal?
Go to a concert!!!!
